Why do you need a proofreader?

Proofreading is an essential tool for ensuring effective communication. Spelling, grammar and punctuation might not always seem very important, but getting these things right will allow you to improve your academic grades, communicate successfully with clients and other organisations, and enhance your professional reputation.

My role as a proofreader is to improve your written documents, to ensure that your target audience can read your text with clarity and understanding. I can check spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as checking the formatting and layout of your document.

I can work with Microsoft Word documents or with PDF files, using markup tools, allowing you to see the changes I have made to your original text. I am also able to markup using BSI proofreading symbols.
